EuroTier 2021 will be carried out virtually with a schedule full of must-see events.

EuroTier, the world’s leading trade fair for professional livestock, will take place during 2021 on a virtual basis. At the same time, the EnergyDecentral trade fair will showcase the best of the market in innovative energy technology.

The dates set for the EuroTier 2021 and EnergyDecentral fairs are 9 – 12 February of the same year. The main venue of these exemplary events will be in Hanover, Germany. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, events will take place online.

EuroTier & EnergyDecentral offer a wide range of services. Some services are trade exchange, portfolio exhibition, the interaction between entrepreneurs and livestock, among others. Besides, technologies focused on livestock will be presented.

Among the professional livestock that EuroTier contemplates, are those dedicated to animal production like cattle, pigs, poultry, and sheep. On the other hand, it seeks to gather innovations for livestock, productive technique, administration, management, and supply of livestock services.

Some of the topics addressed in the program include techniques to prevent antibiotic resistance, improvement of concentrated food, livestock breeding programs, milking equipment and technologies, the advice in the construction of stables, optimization of processes such as air conditioning and environment.

Given that this version of the EuroTier 2021 will be virtual, there are some technical requirements.

The organizers recommend the following technologies:

• Web browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox on your device.
• Sufficient bandwidth to enjoy videos or conferences via Youtube, Zoom, Microsoft Team.
• Have microphone equipment and headphones to participate in events.

The website enabled the purchase of the ticket from 1 February 2021, which allow attendees to familiarize themselves with the platform where the events will take place. All conferences and materials offered will be available for consultation until 15 April.

EuroTier 2021 will offer two awards among its participants. The first award is the EuroTier Innovation Award 2021, whose winner reaps benefits in improving its company’s image.

The second is the Animal Welfare Award, which has been awarded since 2018 to companies that demonstrate high animal welfare indices.

During the conference program of the Eurotier 2021, there will be the EuroTier China Preview Day and EuroTier Middle East Preview Day. A spotlight on the animal farming industry in China and Middle East and a preview of the EuroTier China and Eurotier Middle East expo to be held in September and June, respectively.
