The 17th edition of the International Fair for Animal Production (FIGAN) closed with a highly positive outcome, reaffirming its position as the leading technical event for professionals in livestock production and animal health. Over the course of four days, the halls of Feria de Zaragoza welcomed more than 60,000 professional visitors and 950 exhibiting companies from Spain and around the world.

The event served as a key platform for knowledge transfer, innovative solutions, and business generation, bringing together veterinarians, animal nutrition specialists, animal health professionals, researchers, and representatives from livestock companies, integrators, and research centers.

Among the main topics addressed in this edition were precision nutrition, biosecurity, animal welfare, sustainable production, and farm digitalization. FIGAN 2025 reflected the sector’s steady progress towards more efficient, resilient, and animal-friendly production systems.

The technical program featured over 50 conferences and specialized sessions, covering critical issues such as comprehensive farm health management, antimicrobial reduction, new biotechnological tools for diagnostics, and challenges facing global markets.

“FIGAN has become an essential space for innovation and technology transfer in livestock production. Here, science and industry meet the real needs of the field,” said the General Director of Feria de Zaragoza.

The fair also showcased significant international growth, confirming its role as a strategic platform for Spanish agribusinesses seeking to expand globally. The results and high level of interest generated during the event set a strong foundation for future editions.

With this successful edition concluded, FIGAN is already looking ahead to 2027, with the aim of continuing to promote innovation and sustainable development within the international livestock sector.
