A commercial team from Biovet visited Bangladesh, Myanmar and India in February. In Bangladesh, they met clients of Biovet, the main poultry producers in the country, and also had the opportunity to go to the facilities of the University where the Alquermold Natural preservative is under testing; In Myanmar, the partnerships established in the territory with distributors, customers and stockholders were strengthened; During the stay in India, new commercial opportunities were established with poultry producers in the Asian country.
"In Biovet we collaborate with about twenty universities around the world, where "in vivo " and "in vitro ", tests are carried out, which allow demonstrating the effectiveness of the products before different casuistic and climatological conditions", highlighted the Biovet Area Manager, Victor Huguet. In particular, the team visited the facilities of the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), whose research will analyse the efficacy of a preservative, bactericide and fungicide for raw materials and compound feed.
As Huguet explained, "The Alquermold Natural is a highly effective natural preservative thanks to the synergy emerged from the combination of its natural components. In addition, its incorporation into drinking water allows the control of the main pathogenic colonizing microorganisms of the intestine, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, fungi and yeasts ". This trial is the prelude to the launch of the product in Bangladesh market, which is expected to be held in April 2018.
After the technical visit at the end of 2017, in February the commercial team of Biovet returned to Myanmar, where they strengthened ties with distributors, customers and other groups of interest. In that country, customers "showed their satisfaction with the product they currently use, the mycotoxin binder Alquerfeed Antitox", Biovet representative mentioned. He also concluded: "Potential customers show great interest in testing the different products of the extensive Biovet catalog, such as, for example, the Alquermold Natural preservative".
