Circular DNA: The primitive molecule of the life. Dissemination 92nd
DNA is an organic molecule that stores instructions to build and operate the cell that contains it and which is transmitted from generation to generation. This can be found in various structures of prokaryotes (no nucleus) and in some cell organelles eukaryotes such as chloroplasts (plant cells) and mitochondria (animal cells).
Taking into account the structure of the DNA molecules is visible a first statement: "DNA double strand formed by a closed circle is present in the most primitive cells, prokaryotes, and in organelles of the more developed cells, eukaryotic”
The first significant event leads us to the possible origin of these circular molecules. "Circular DNA from prokaryotes may be the primordial molecule that contains the instructions for building and operating the first forms of life on Earth meanwhile molecules circular DNA existing in chloroplasts and mitochondria proceed to prokaryotic DNA, through a process of inclusion or symbiosis, it was associated within eukaryotic cells. This is a second significant event.
Finally, considering the functionality of circular DNA chloroplast and circular DNA mitochondrial we reach a third significant event: "If the circular DNA chloroplast contains the instructions for making and using O2, carbohydrates and shikimic acid, while using mitochondrial and the circular DNA outer energy, only contains the instructions for using O2, carbohydrates and shikimic acid are evident that the mitochondrial circular DNA is from a circular DNA of the chloroplast".
Therefore the logical sequence, the presence of circulating DNA as storage instructions for building and running living cells, can be:
1. Free appearance of circular DNA of unknown origin to the present, in a medium rich organic disorganized material.
2. Organizing of the first prokaryotic cell structures around an area named nucleoid formed by circular DNA.
3. Evolution to the first eukaryotic plant cell structures with an organelle named chloroplast, which contains circular DNA.
4. Evolution to the first eukaryotic animal cell structures with an organelle named mitochondria, which contains circular DNA.
In the next chapters we will discuss the main hypotheses and theories related to circular DNA molecule as primordial, in which is based the appearance and evolution of life as well as the application of such knowledge in new technologies that will revolutionize the future nutrition of animal a human.
