Biovet S.A., a manufacturer of additives of natural origin, received in July the registration approval of trademark AVAL (a general restorative) in India. This nutritional supplement is especially intended to improve egg quality and enhance the growth of animals, in various situations such as periods of stress or intensive production.

In general, AVAL is always administered in drinking water since in situations of stress the animals usually eat less food, so adding to drinking water ensures that a sufficient concentration of AVAL reaches animal´s body.

As explained by Dr. David Díez, the responsible person of Biovet S.A. for India, "there are periods in the productive cycle of animals, such as transportation, changes in diet, high temperatures, rapid growth, the high metabolic effort required for laying, the stress levels are reached at that point that affect its immune system or its physiological balance, which will cause diseases or low production. Therefore, it is necessary an extra supply of vitamins, amino acids and pronutrients, which guarantee the correct functioning of their physiology and an optimal productive performance".

In particular, AVAL is especially indicated in: periods of high production; first days of life (especially chicks), to ensure a good start; periods of stress (transport, group changes, vaccinations, etc.); recovery after illnesses (such as diarrhea); extreme temperature changes or, in general, any situation in which there is a reduction in food consumption.

AVAL is a nutritional supplement composed of a wide variety of vitamins, different essential amino acids and non-essential for different species and pronutrients (obtained from botanical extracts). The main advantage of AVAL over other vitamin complexes in the market is the incorporation of pronutrients, which will get the vitamins and amino acids (and other nutrients) absorbed more efficiently in the intestine. All this ensures a good functioning of the liver and stimulates the immune system, so that an improvement of the productive parameters of the animal is achieved.

VITAMINS
Vitamins are organic molecules necessary in small quantities for a correct physiological functioning of the animal and that most of them cannot be synthesized by the organism. Vitamin deficiency can cause different pathologies such as: white muscle and reproductive failures, due to lack of vitamin E; P and Ca deficiency, due to lack of vitamin D; hemorrhages, due to lack of vitamin K; anemia, neurological symptoms, growth delay, weight loss, and lack of formation of epithelia, deficiency of B vitamins, etc.

ESSENTIAL AND LIMITING AMINO ACIDS
The essential and limiting amino acids are protein precursors that can only be obtained in the diet. They are necessary for optimal growth, especially in periods of high productive capacity or after periods of stress. The lack of these amino acids limits the protein synthesis and with it the growth and the production in general.

PRONUTRIENTS
The pronutrients are micro-ingredients of botanical origin that normalize the physiology of the liver, immune system and intestine.
