Biovet S.A. has announced the 2018 Research and Marketing Awards open to researchers in veterinary medicine, commercial and distributors. These awards aim to advertise and reward the latest research and commercial actions related to animal health and production. In this occasion, the works should be about: ‘Technological additives: mycotoxins binders, pronutrients, enzymes, probiotics, acidifiers and preservatives’.

The projects may be delivered until November 29, 2018. These awards may be presented in two categories: Technical development (research or product development) and commercial development. The winning studies will be presented at the International Symposium to be held in Tarragona during the year 2019. In addition, the selected projects will be published in the scientific publication Veterinaria Digital.

In the last edition, Dr. Kolapo Ajuwon, from Purdue University, received the award for his scientific research work at the XXX International Biovet Symposium. On this occasion Dr. Ajuwon conducted several trials with Alquernat Immuplus as a natural immunobooster against Levamisole, a chemical immunobooster. He was also awarded for his trials that demonstrate the effects of the hepatic regenerator pronutrient, Alquernat Livol, in combination with the mycotoxin binder, Alquerfeed Antitox, for the growth and health of pigs.

Besides that, the Commercial Development Award was given to Doctor's Agrovet in recognition of its commercial and research labours. Doctor's Agrovet is Biovet's distributor in Bangladesh since 2016, support the most innovative products of Biovet for Bengal market and offer a valuable after-sales service to its customers.

ORIGINAL WORK

Aspirants may only submit a single work, which must be in power of the Secretary of Biovet with deadline, on November 29, 2018, except in the case of sending by ordinary post. In this case, the postmark date must be November 29th or before.

Works must be original, typed in Spanish or English. In the event that there were several authors of the awarded work, such nomination, amount in cash and diploma, will be delivered to the first signatory.
