The National Poultry Congress of Panama successfully closed the XXXII edition of the international event.
The XXXII National Poultry Congress of Panama, organized by the Asociación Nacional de Avicultores de Panamá (ANAVIP), was held from November 17 to 18, 2021.
The opening of the event was attended by leading representatives of the poultry sector in Panama and Latin America, as well as international guests.
The Congress coincided with the celebration of the 47th anniversary of ANAVIP foundation and promoted the meeting of all actors in the poultry industry. In addition, the event commemorated the difficult sanitary situation of the continent due to the recent pandemic. The objective as to strengthen ties between the participating countries and work towards food safety.

The XXXII National Poultry Congress was held in a virtual and partially face-to-face format, considering the biosecurity conditions, and maintaining the capacity protocols for the safety of the attendees.
International guests at the ANAVIP Congress
Sponsors and speakers came from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain, the United States and Nicaragua.
Among the international conferences, the Congress included a presentation on “Alterations of intestinal integrity”, given by Dr. David Diez, veterinarian of Biovet S.A. Other topics discussed at the meeting were broiler production, nutrition, genetics, sustainability, management, and economic analysis of production.
Veterinaria Digital was an associate sponsor of the XXXII National Poultry Congress of Panama. In this way, the digital media had a virtual stand at the trade show where information about the digital magazine and the poultry articles published was shared.

Finally, the organization of the Congress emphasizes that computers were available for the attendance to the conferences for the participants in a face-to-face format. For virtual attendees, access to the congress was through a virtual platform that allowed access by phones, tablets, or computers, to ensure the comfort of the attendees. In this way, the congress achieved a hybrid attendance that met the expectations of the participants.
