A  technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A participated in the Gut Health Symposium held in Sant Louis (Missouri) on November 14th.

The team shared a speech about the natural preservative Alquermold Natural, presented by Dr. Hamada A. Aboubakr from the University of Minnesota and Dr. Júlia Pié, technician from Biovet S.A.

Dr. Aboubakr presented an in vitro trial testing Alquermold Natural against Clostridium at different concentrations and different exposure times.

Next, Dr. Júlia Pié, a technician, presented another in vitro trial testing the same product to avoid enterocytes infection by Salmonella.

Both trials demonstrate the effectiveness of this product against these microorganisms. Alquermold Natural is a broad spectrum microbiocide.
