On April 23, 2022, the Latin American poultry industry celebrated the 52nd anniversary of the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA).

This entity, which brings together the interests of the Latin American poultry industry, was born on April 23, 1970 in the Buenos Aires Cereals Exchange. This was the first headquarters of the association and the founders and representatives of: Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Paraguay were present at the event.

After 52 years of history, ALA continues to support producers in order to develop a competitive sector and contribute to strengthening efficient and responsible poultry production.

In August, ALA, together with the National Association of Poultry Farmers of Honduras, will celebrate a new edition of the OVUM that will take place from September 6 to 9 in San Pedro Sula.
