The AMVECAJ 2022 was organized by the Asociación de Médicos Veterinarios Especialistas en Cerdos de los Altos de Jalisco (AMVECAJ). Multiple activities focused on this industry were organized during this congress, which brought together businessmen from the Mexican swine farming sector.

Between February 9 and 11, AMVECAJ 2022 received hundreds of attendees at the Bicentennial Park, located in the city of Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco. The slogan of this year’s event was “New challenges and opportunities for swine farming”.

The topics addressed in the conferences revolved around biosecurity in swine farms, animal welfare, health and infectious diseases, and water treatment. These lectures were transmitted online through AMVECAJ’s official social networks to maintain the hybrid format of the event.

On the other hand, Veterinaria Digital as the official media of AMVECAJ Congress was present in this edition of the event during the three days of activities. Therefore, it had a stand in the commercial fair where the attendees could know the services of the portal and exchange experiences. In addition, representatives of Biovet S.A. participated in the event and attended the participants who were interested in their product catalog.

Finally, the organizers of AMVECAJ, headed by its president, Dr. Santiago Zúñiga Solis, thanked all the businessmen, professionals, and technicians who attended the event and invited them to meet again in the next edition of the event.
