Biovet S.A., together with IFTA USA Inc, will present a poster demonstrating the effect of Alquernat Nebsui to improve the performance of pigs in finishing stage at the Leman Conferences, to be held September 17-20 in Minnesota, United States.

Specifically, the trial, carried out on a farm in the United States, compared the performance results and carcass characteristics of finishing pigs fed with a synthetic additive, based on narasin, administered continuously throughout the fattening period; and Alquernat Nebsui, a natural additive based on intestinal conditioner pronutrients, administered from ~80 kg to market.

The results show that the batch supplemented with Alquernat Nebsui obtained a higher weight gain. In addition, it achieved a better feed conversion rate in the overall performance and higher carcass weight.

Alquernat Nebsui is a natural additive developed by Biovet S.A. containing intestinal conditioner pronutrients. Its use promotes the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa and improves the integrity of the intestinal epithelium. In such a way that the product improves the digestibility of the feed, increases the absorption of nutrients and maintains the balance of the intestinal flora.
