The 3rd Sunbird Conference was held in Changsha (China)
The company Beijing Saint Green presented Biovet products during the event

With the motto "Increasing efficiency in food technologies", the 3rd Sunbird Conference was held in Changsha (China), on April 15th to 17th. Also, the company Beijing Saint Green presented the products of the company of natural origin additives, Biovet S.A., to the representatives of the main factories of feeding, in order to strengthen the sales of the mentioned products based on pronutrients, natural preservatives and mycotoxin binders.
To avoid the effects of mycotoxins, Alquerfeed Antitox was presented, "a mycotoxin binder that prevents the negative effects of ingesting food contaminated with mycotoxins and does not adsorb other products such as vitamins, enzymes and drugs".
Also, was discussed how to reduce the use of Antibiotics Growth Promoter (AGPs) in feed and increase feed efficiency. "Alquernat Nebsui contains intestinal conditioner pronutrients, which within the digestive tract, acts together forming a polysaccharide gel, which facilitates the growth of beneficial bacteria for the organism, such as acidophilic bacteria. Likewise, they inhibit the proliferation of pathogens, improve the absorption of nutrients, optimize the digestive properties of the mucosa and help reduce the use of AGPs", explained the representatives of Beijing Saint Green.
IN VIVO TRIAL
Finally, Professor Yu, from the University of Fujian (FAFU, China) explained the results of the study carried out in above mentioned organization, in which a product based on cimenol ring was tested in piglets, during the post-weaning stage, to promote balance of the digestive flora.
The results of the study show that the cimenol ring is a molecule with bactericidal and fungicidal activity of broad spectrum that shows selectivity for potentially pathogenic microorganisms (such as E. coli) and does not affect other beneficial microorganisms of the digestive tract of pigs (Lactobacillus). Therefore, this molecule promotes the balance of the digestive flora. Accordingly, the experts discussed animal health and reached a consensus on the technical aspects and the production management.
