Veterinaria Digital congratulates the Sonora Institute of Technology (ITSON), to obtain the first national place for its scientific quality, during the period 2003-2009, in the Mexican Scientific Production ranking of 2011's Scientific and Technological Consultative Forum, AC.

The quality of scientific research was assessed by number of citations per scientific paper recorded in the index, international collaboration per document, percentage of articles cited and the percentage of impact.

According to the ranking ITSON was placed first by the largest number of citations per paper, and the second by international collaboration in the production of items recorded in the indexes.
