The International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) seeks to reconnect Latin American poultry farming in its 2022 agenda.
The 2022 International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) has already surpassed 507,000 square feet of exhibition space and secured more than 1,000 exhibitors. This major international exhibition is only six months away.
What is IPPE 2022?
The International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE 2022) is an international event that is composed of three main halls as follows:
- International Poultry Expo
- International Feed Expo
- International Meat Exhibition
Therefore, the IPPE is the largest annual meat, poultry, and food fair in the world. This exhibition is sponsored by the US Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY), the American Feed Industry (AFIA), and the North American Meat Institute (NAMI).
When will IPPE be celebrated?
IPPE 2022 will be held from Tuesday to Thursday, January 25-27, 2022, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The organizers have made every effort to develop the event as a face-to-face event. This will allow exhibitors to reconnect, network, and showcase the latest technologies and services driving the industry.
IPPE 2022 organizers will continue to prioritize the health and safety of all attendees. Therefore, the event will be monitoring biosafety protocols following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines against COVID-19.
Who organizes and supports IPPE?
The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) was founded in 1909 and is dedicated exclusively to representing the commercial, legislative, and trade interests of the U.S. feed industry and its suppliers. AFIA is comprised of 650 national and international companies representing the entire feed industry: commercial and integrated feed and pet food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, pharmaceutical companies, industry support, and equipment manufacturers.
The North American Meat Institute (NAMI) is the leading voice of the meat and poultry industry. Formed from the 2015 merger of the American Meat Institute (AMI) and North American Meat.
U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the trade association for poultry and egg production in the United States. This organization has research, education, communications, and technical services functions. It was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Tucker, Georgia.
Latin American Poultry and the IPPE 2022
The International Poultry Expo (IPE), part of the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE); along with the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA) have made new announcements.
In an August 24 release, they announced the launch of the Latin American Poultry Summit 2022. This global poultry congress will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022. The main theme discussed will be “A look at poultry farming today and tomorrow: Challenges and answers” and will be presented in a new format.
The organization of this event is a proposal to reconnect the Latin American poultry industry. To this end, it will feature two keynote speakers, a panel discussion. In addition, it will have in its design an overview of two research projects funded by USPOULTRY and ALA that focused on issues relevant to the Latin American poultry industry.
On the other hand, there will be educational sessions focused on topics related to economic changes, technological inputs, diseases, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability. In this way, the event is presented as an opportunity to establish contacts and business partners.
