From Aug. 30th to Sept 4th the International symposium Biovet Asia 2010 was carried out in Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam). The event was attended by producers, technicians and distributors from several Asian countries such as China, India, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam. During the event some matters regarding the feed industry were treated under the slogan “Security of animal origin feed through the security of feed for animals.”

Among several lectures we could highlight those about new trends and use of pronutrients of animal origin as well as “Formulation in animal nutrition: systems in group”.

Regarding the lectures with Asian information contents we could highlight the lectures about avian digestive injuries in China and presence of mycotoxins in feed in Malaysia.

Apart from these matters, there was also a lecture about European legislation to control the feed industry.
