EFJ Laboratories S.A. will participate in XXIX ANAVIP National Poultry Congress that will take place on October 18th and 19th in Panama. During the event, organized by the National Association of Poultry Farmers of Panama (ANAVIP, as its initials in Spanish), attendees will be able to learn about the latest updates of EFJ Laboratories from its manager, Enzo Rodríguez Lay, at booth number 36.

The updates of the lines of vaccines, antibiotics, enzymes and laboratory test kits of EFJ Laboratories S.A. –the main activity of this company is manufacturing, marketing and exporting of veterinary products– will be presented at the expo.

EJF Laboratories S.A. was founded by a multidisciplinary group of researchers, who have studied the characteristics of microbial pathogens and how to develop safe vaccines against these microbes. “The research carried out has allowed us to obtain field results that improve the health and productivity of the poultry and livestock companies,” said Rodríguez Lay.

In August 2016 the first patent was accepted in Panama for the manufacturing process of an inactivated vaccine for the prevention of bacterial infections for veterinary use, requested by EJF Laboratories.

The patent was developed from the information obtained as a result of an extensive investigation by the team of EJF Laboratories S.A. and collaborators. These collaborations are carried out within the framework of agreements between universities in several countries.

For its part, ANAVIP aims to “develop poultry farming in Panama through discussion and the use of technical and scientific advances combined with the collaboration of our partners in the exchange of ideas and experiences around poultry problems”, as stress organizers.
