The 18th China animal husbandry expo 2020 (CAHE) was held in Changsha on September 4th – 6^th. The exhibition maintains the size of the livestock fair of past editions and attracted visitors from United States, France, the Netherlands, and Denmark among other countries. During the exhibition, there were more than 16 large conferences, forums, and lectures.

CAHE is held annually in different cities every year and is one of the largest livestock show in Asia. Visitors can find information about animal breeding (pig, poultry, cattle, sheep and goat, rabbit, deer, camel, fur-bearing animal, specials and etc.), animal health, animal housing, feed and feed additives, feed processing, grain & raw material, processing equipment, meat processing, packaging, refrigeration, meat products, egg products, grass and seed, media, knowledge transfer, consultancy, bio-energy, among others.

The COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 has brought unprecedented challenges to China’s economic development. Both the production and consumption sectors have been greatly affected, and the livestock industry has also been severely hit. The exhibitions, which was first scheduled to be held in May, was finally delayed to September to conform with the requirements of health control of Changsha.

The 18th (2020) China Animal Husbandry Expo and 2020 China International Animal Husbandry Expo has concluded successfully.
