AMVECAJ 2023, an extremely successful Congress
The Amvecaj 2023 congress was a great success and year after year it is consolidating as one of the best events for the pork industry in Mexico.

Once again, Veterinaria Digital participated as one of the official media partners in AMVECAJ Congress (Mexico) during the three days of the fair, February 8, 9, and 10, 2023.
This year’s Congress was a great success and, year after year, it is consolidating itself as one of the best events of the swine industry in Mexico.
With more than 2000 people present, AMVECAJ represented the centre of the most current solutions offered by the world industry of the swine sector.
The attendance was impressive during the excellent lectures, which showed innovative and practical solutions to everyday problems, as well as extraordinary ones.
The lectures offered the audience new ideas and perspectives on innovative and sustainable animal production with greener and more environmentally friendly options, such as precision farming, plant-based feeding, and advanced production technology. Research and disease prevention in the pig industry was also central topics. Attendees were very interested in hepatic pathology and diagnostics and the wide range of nutritional solutions to improve the liver health of pigs. Experts from the swine industry offered valuable information on the prevention and treatment of viral infectious diseases, the management of the hyper-prolific sow, as well as the control of PRRS and mycotoxicosis and their consequences.
How can technology and the latest scientific research results improve efficiency on the farm? Talks on applied molecular biology in animal disease diagnostics, the use of sustainable nutrition and essential oils in swine production aimed to respond to these questions.
These events have provided the opportunity to connect with other professionals in the sector and have created an interdisciplinary approach for the veterinary medical community.
In addition, the epic event of the opening of the AMVECAJ Congress with the participation of the residents of Tepatitlán, the auction of artworks with a noble cause, and the presence of the unique products of local artisans added an extra dimension to the overall congress experience, which praises the attentive and thorough work of the organizers.

For Veterinaria Digital, the event represented an excellent occasion to meet with professionals and companies in the swine industry. In addition, it provided the opportunity to create new partnerships with representatives of the swine nutrition sector.
