Pseudomonas infection in broilers: In the case of this image, both greenish liver and a part of the intestine were observed in broilers. The isolated microorganism was Pseudomonas, a green pigment-producing bacteria, which matches the observed lesions and signs. Also, microbial isolation in the bone marrow should reveal Pseudomonas septicaemia. It is necessary to check whether the bacteria infected the chick during incubation or whether the water was contaminated from infected eggs. This would require treating the breeders and chicks during their reception with an enterohepatic cycle antibiotic.
