Study of the use of cimenol ring and intestinal conditioner pronutrients to improve the productive parameters in pigs
An in vivo trial was conducted in Hunan province, China in 2016
In an in vivo trial carried out in Hunan province (China) in 2016, the effect of the use of cimenol ring and intestinal conditioner pronutrients on the productive parameters in pigs from 45 to 81 days of age, was analyzed.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
The trial was carried out between September 2nd and October 8th. It involved 88 animals divided in two batches.
- Control batch: Standard diet (diet commonly used in the farm).
- Treatment batch: Standard diet + cimenol ring and intestinal conditioner pronutrients.
The batch supplemented with cimenol ring and intestinal conditioner pronutrients obtained:
- Better final weight (+8,03%)
- Better weight gain (+12,83%)
- Better feed conversion rate (-7,51%)
So, it can be concluded that the inclusion of cimenol ring and intestinal conditioner pronutrients in the diet improved the conversion rate, the weight gain, and therefore the final weight of the pigs.
The cimenol ring is commercialized as Alquermold Natural, developed by Biovet S.A Laboratories, composed of cimenol ring and citric acid. It controls the pathogenic intestinal flora and works as an effective natural preservative of raw materials and feed.
On the other hand, intestinal conditioner pronutrients are trademarked as Alquernat Nebsui product, also developed by Biovet SA laboratories. This technology reorders the structure of the intestinal mucosa and increases its functionality and efficiency, reducing the size of the intestine. In such way, it is possible to stimulate the regeneration of the cells of the intestine.
The effects produced by intestinal conditioner pronutrients are an improvement in the physiological state of the intestinal mucosa, an increase in the absorption of nutrients and control of growth of intestinal pathogens.
