Newcastle disease in broilers (ND): it is a highly contagious disease, characterized by clinical signs in the digestive system and neurological symptoms. In the viscerotropic form, hemorrhagic lesions are observed, highlighting those of the gizzard. The mucosa shows edema, mucus and hemorrhages. Transmission from wild birds is a very important factor, and adequate vaccination and immune boosting programs are necessary.
