In the image, we can observe a clinical case of haemorrhagic enteritis/colitis, and the possible causes may be, among others: coccidiosis, porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome, swine dysentery or haemorrhagic syndrome. For the differential diagnosis, the mesenteric lymph node chain should be checked, oocyst count for Isosporaspecies should be performed, as well as a bacterial isolation in the laboratory, in the case of bacterial enterocolitis.
