Biotin deficiency in intestine
Biotin is a vitamin of B group (B7 or B8), of great importance to the tissues that need regenerate very quickly. Their water-soluble character requires continued administration, so that the relative lack of it, causing alterations in the epithelium. The intestinal epithelium of poultry is especially sensitive, showing transverse striations from 5th day of age. These lesions are door of infectious and parasitic processes.
