Fatty liver in broilers: There are multiple factors capable of generating liver stress, which when chronic, produces structural damage to the organ with loss of functionality. One of the observable signs is the appearance of hepatic fatty syndrome, which causes a decrease in immunity, worsening of productive parameters and possible increase of mortality. A triggering factor is unbalanced diets, with excess energy, which cause fat accumulation in the liver.
