Fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome has two options: fatty liver syndrome (FLS) and fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome (FLHS), which can also be called avian steatosis and hemorrhagic avian steatosis.

In the photo we can see the lesion caused by FLHS. It is sporadic disease nutritional, seasonal and toxic origin Affected birds are usually overweight and manifests with sudden death of birds with pale combs.

At necropsy are detected intrahepatic and abdominal bleeding clots.
