Coccidiosis by E. acervulina in broiler

This type of coccidia affects duodenum, where it causes lesions characterized by whitish lines and produces a marked worsening of productive performance, with a very important economic impact, even considering that mortality rates are not very high. It is very important to implement an effective anticoccidial program, and to control the multiple predisposing factors of coccidia, as well as related pathologies, such as several types of enteritis.
