Infections due to SH2 Enterobacteria, transmitted through vitellus, may course with formation of nodules in several organs. Statistically Salmonella enteritidis is the most frequent and the shape of nodules, with a concave side, is so typical. Microbiological isolation must be done in vitellus, caecum intestine and liver and we must discard presence of Aspergillus fumigatus. This last one produces nodules more rounded and normally located inside lungs, together with mouldy patches in the aeral bags.
