Uro. Dissemination 83rd
The aurochs is a species from Central Asia from 2 million years ago spread throughout Eurasia to become extinct in 1627. Scientifically is called "Bos primigenius primigenius". From it were derived Bos taurus taurus (origin of all current species cattle) and Bos taurus indicus (origin of all species present Zebu). This common origin allows for genetic similarity, a cross between Zebu and cattle leading to fertile hybrids resistant to certain parasites. In the picture you can see a complete skeleton of uro (lyre-shaped horns, 180 cm tall at the withers) "
