Everybody knows the adverse effect on human health of car fumes, smoke snuff and alcohol consumption. But governments are allowing them. The tax burden that consumption of these products serve to offset the health costs resulting its use and apparently serve as a source of income in the respective state budgets. All this without taking into account the loss of human lives for a weekend after another occurs in every country roads, farming subsidies snuff and alcohol distillation.

But now, through the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) wants to restrict the use of citral (natural component of essential oils such as lemon oil, orange oil or essential oil of bergamot), coumarins (Dipteryx tonka-bean odorata), polyphenols (basil, carrot, cinnamon, bay leaf, marjoram, pennyroyal ..), tree lichen (Evernia furfurácea) and poison oak (and Treemoss Oakmoss furfurácea) in the development of products for the personal hygiene suspicion that between 1 and 3% of Europeans are allergic, or may be to any of these ingredients.

If it were not sad it would be to laugh at that, while accepting income   by the use of dangerous substances knowingly as fossil fuels, tobacco and alcohol,  must engage consumers defend something as dangerous as carrots, marjoram, lemon and oranges contain substances allegedly suspected of causing allergy some components of its essential oils.
