In the 80-90 years of last century the broilers more than 45 days old, were often diagnosed with sinusitis-tracheitis-tendinitis syndrome. This disease began with an inflammation (either unilateral or bilateral) of infraorbital bosom which appeared in petechiae where they insolate enterobacteriaceae by producing SH2, some with hemolytic capacity. From this pathology could be observed while successive days a tracheitis, without subcutaneous abscesses membrane and accumulations of pus in the bag of a gastronecnemius. This pathology was reduced significantly, by shortening the period of raising broilers by reaching their weight between 35-40 days.
However, the actual increase in the presence of wild varieties, the virus of the Bronchitis has been accompanied by the reappearance of the syndrome of sinusitis-tracheitis-tendinitis in broilers aged between 20 and 25 days. In these photos you can see the sinusitis in broilers of 24 days.
