The appearance of Homo sapiens is an important step in the evolution of life on Earth. Its rapid spread all over the world in just 150.000 years (a geological time almost negligible) and the elimination (or almost disappearance) of predators by extinction or domestication make our specie in a successful biological phenomenon.
However, there is a mystery about its evolution from the current stage to their future forms in the situation of absence of predators or rapid geological changes. Some thinkers have made predictions about the “man of the future” based on physical and behavior criteria. Thus Nietzsche talked about the “Super-Man”, not in physical sense but in postmoral sense. Desmond Morris deals with this topic in his book “The Naked Monkey” basing on the future influence of physical aspects such as bipedalism in reproduction or the evolution of anatomy of hands and central nervous system.
Although these hypotheses can have part of reason, nowadays studies on the influence of social organization on the evolution of the human species are emerging. The studies of Laura Betzig, Karen S. Cook, Gregory D. Webster, A. Horowitz and Others is demonstrating that in last 10.000 years, the social organization has developed a strong social pressure on the human population from a simple assumption: “The change of our specie from the hunter-gatherer nomadic life to the sedentarism of an agricultural society, from 9.000 to 8.000 years ago, was immediately followed by the appearance of kings, emperors and a ruling elite that took over all assets and limit the access to family formation itself of those who were excluded from this elite”. In Europe, except recent centuries, there was still known as “droit de signeur” or fight of first night by the governors.
The hypothesis continued proposing: “These men tended to establish system to fertilize hundreds or thousands of women while thy made sure that other men were sufficiently depressed or sufficiently poor to have an own family.
Nowadays, humanity would have millions of descendants of that privileged class, and most of them still would have the genetic blueprint that could help their ancestors rise up among his peers for submission”
Using technical terms, we could talk about the influence that different forms of state (tested in the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Asia, the Andes and North Africa), that is a small group of people that impose themselves by the monopoly of physical violence, through discriminatory laws or using dubious justifications for religious or family to most of population.
These occurred in the past, but what happens in modern societies?
Nowadays, it can be sensed that the methods are more subtle and therefore more opaque than before, but there are reasonable suspicions that the basic situation remains in many parts of the planet. We should be aware about the use of public funds in the implementation of programs of birth control, variation.
