Hemorrhagic enteritis in pigs

Animals with hemorrhagic enteritis show hyperthermia, abdominal pain and hemorrhagic diarrhea in severe cases. Different agents have been described as causative of this disease, such as spirochetes, but most opinions indicate that several microorganisms act synergistically.
