Editorial 10: Latin American Academies of Veterinary Sciences
During the celebration of the XXI Latin American Congress of Veterinary (PANVET), celebrated from September 1st to September 4th 2010 in Lima (Perú), the meeting of the Latin American Association of Veterinary Sciences Association was held during the same time.
In that meeting, took part some representatives of the Academies from several countries such as Colombia, Peru, México and Spain, and were treated matters related to the teaching of veterinary sciences in countries which are members of the association.
From Veterinaria Digital we support these initiatives which promote international collaboration for the development of veterinary sciences and we congratulate the following people who took part of it:
Drs.Alba, Batalla, Correa, Cuenca, Dominguez, Rosadio, Rivera, San Martin, Tellez and Trueta.
Apart from them, we would like to especially mention Dr. Carlos Luis de Cuenca, who first from the Veterinarian Spanish Magazine, later from the Real Academy of Veterinary Sciences and currently from the Latin American Association of Veterinary Sciences, has been doing a great job in favour of the veterinary sciences.
From Veterinaria Digital we look forward to the following meeting of this association that will be held in 2011 and we offer our website to spread the activities they will be carrying out.
