Editorial 1. Veterinaria Digital
Thank you, dear reader, for allowing us access to your regular venue for information.
The creation of one media is always a good new for any society, especially for those sectors that lack of appropriate technical and scientific information that is independent.
This is the case of the information of the veterinary and animal production sector that has in our opinion, with few exceptions, a submissive and dependent offer media. Till now the emergence of new media has enriched in little or anything, the diversity of views since the majority of media come characterized for subduing their ideology to the ideology of public and private groups that have capacity of pressure and they often pursue different goals to ethics and general interests.
In Veterinaria Digital we want to win the respect and esteem of thousands of readers and it’s obvious that Internet offers this possibility, until sometime ago virtually unknown, to channel information and actively participate in the veterinary animal production sector.
Veterinaria Digital is the fruit of this lack, of objective and unbiased of information.
Veterinaria Digital has born from conscious rejection of any guardianship. Our team is identified editorially with researchers, veterinarians, engineers, zootechnicians and animals producers committed to defence production of a good quality food, innocuous, safe, to an accessible price and that contributes to well-being to of human population. The population growth had not been possible without the new technologies in poultry, and swine breeding. We all owe much to this productive sector.
All that we take part in Veterinary Digital will join efforts in order that our presence in the media strengthens the quality and clarity of technical, scientific and professional opinion in a field dominated in occasions by the interested alarmism (avian flu and swine flu), by political interests (technological or sanitary barriers to hide political interests), funded "scientific" studies, sometimes to justify legislations or supposed defences of public health or the rights of the animals to mask the creation of market oligarchies.
Our group has as priority to contributes, with editorial opinions and serve as scientific platform to expose the offers of all our partners, to improve the situation of the animal health and production in respect to the freedom of information and opinion of professionists and producers.
For this we have the cooperation of people with wide experience in the academic world, in the animal production and research as well as with new collaborators that should contribute with enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
Veterinaria Digital needs of all of them and of you, dear reader, to become into the scientific veterinary portal. Thanks for your collaboration and support
