Campylobacter hepatitis

Usually, Campylobacter is part of the intestinal microflora of birds, and it does not cause any type of disease. However, in recent studies, some species of this microorganism have been isolated in liver, associated with a liver syndrome characterized mainly by inflammation and, in some cases necrotic infiltrate. However, there is controversy whetherCampylobacter is the primary causative agent of this liver syndrome.
