Aeromonas hydrophila is a Gram negative bacterium mainly found in salt and fresh water, it is highly resistant to medicines, chlorine, and temperature changes (4 to 40). Infects fish and frogs, and produces enterotoxin. The most prominent external injury is the presence of petechiae on the skin.
