International exhibition VIV Qingdao 2019: from feed to food for China
VIV Qingdao 2019 will take place between September 19th and 21st 2019 at the World Expo City exhibition center in Qingdao city, Shandong province, China. As pointed out by the organizers, the event will occupy a total of 5 pavilions (S1 to S5), which is equivalent to an approximate area of 50,000 square meters. The facilities will accommodate around 600 exhibitors specialized in swine, poultry, aquaculture, eggs and diary production, among others. The attendance is expected to exceed the 30,000 visitors.
Parallel to the exhibition, VIV Qingdao will host 20 international seminars in which the main topics will revolve around Chinese market characteristics and needs, as well as current challenges and possible solutions for the global agri-food industry.
This event is expected to be repeated annually within the Chinese geography to respond to industries’ demand of a Chinese-centred event, given the complexity of the agri-food market of that vast country. Although this first edition has been the result of the collaboration of VNU Exhibitions Europe with its Asian counterpart, VNU Exhibitions Asia, it is expected that the latter will take the reins of this international exhibition in its future editions.
