Infectious sinusitis in turkeys is an infectious disease caused by one or more microorganisms, that causes swelling of the infraorbital sinuses , purulent nasal discharge usually brown and high fever ( ruffled feathers ) . Although Mycoplasma gallisepticum and M. meleagridis are the most frequently isolated germs, they can also be result of infectious sinusitis cases with the involvement of E. coli , Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Ornithobacteriurn rhinotracheale .
