An panchronic alga, Acetabularia. Dissemination 84th
On Disclosure Blog No. 2, entitled "From Hamerling to J.Watson and F.Crick", we presented some photos of Acetabularia crenulata and Acetabularia Mediterranean. Both species are distinguished by the shape of the umbrella.
In this blog nº 84, we presented Acetabularia fossils of an age of 540 million years.
The fact that this species of unicellular algae remain alive and with few modifications turns Acetabularia into a panchronic living being with the cycads.
