Anemonia sulcata

Anemonia sulcata is a cynical animal belonging to the family of Actiniidae, order of Actiniaria. It has different genders and an oviparous reproduction although it can also be reproduced by bipartition. Its normal nutrition is: microscopic marine arthropods as well as the substances produced in its digestive system by algae (zooxanthelas). The coloration of its tentacles, which varies from yellowish brown to green with violet tips, is related to the algae that live in symbiosis with Anemonia.

The cactus Echinopsis oxygona iis known as lady of night and presents spherical body, conical white or pink flowers and nocturnal flowers. Name comes from its appearance of hedgehog (echinos = hedgehog and opsis = appearance).

Condor in the forest

Although Vultur gryphus is a common in the Andes of Peru, the proximity between the forest and the high mountain makes this species of condor can be observed flying at high altitude, in a circle, over open livestock or poultry areas of the forest.
