In vitro trial of Alquermold Natural (Salmonella), use of preservatives against Salmonella
Essay presented by Dr. Goyal at Biovet Symposium for America in Atlanta about Alquermold Natural
Alquermold Natural is a preservative, antimicrobial and fungicidal for raw material and balanced feed which combines the action of an active principle with a natural origin, cimenol ring (T. vulgaris), with citric acid. Furthermore, its incorporation in drinking water allows main intestine colonizer pathogens control, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, mould and yeast.
The objective of a trial was to determine the capacity of Alquermold Natural to inactivate Salmonella dublin at different concentrations of the product and at different exposure times.
