This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the registration of the breed Peruvian hairless dog in International Cynologic Federation (FCI).
On June 12th in 1985, was published the original standard, classifying the breed with number 310, in Group V for primitive or Spitz dogs, and in Section for primitive dogs.
For this reason, the National Committee for the protection of Peruvian hairless dog, Peruvian official organism established by Supreme decree nº 036-2005-AG, has scheduled several commemorative official activities which start on June 11th with a solemn session and a Festival for the Peruvian canine breed on June 12th.
These commemorative events will be attended by the authorities of the institutions which constitute the National Committee, and the natural or legal people who support and spread the importance of this Peruvian breed and work for its conservation. Those people will receive a special recognition from the competent official organism at the premises of Veterinary Medical Association of Peru.
On June 12th, the Peruvian hairless dog’s breeders will be able to enjoy of the canine Festival.
