On 22th and 23th November was held the XXII International Symposium Biovet America 2013 in Panama City, with the participation of scientists and technicians, mostly poultry, from 8 countries of America, Asia and Europe.
The symposium, which consisted of two scientific sessions, was inaugurated by Dr. Marvin Vega MIDA.
In his speech welcomed the attendees on behalf of Panama as host country, and pointed to the importance of these scientific symposiums, third time Biovet developed in Panama City.
The XXII International Symposium Biovet America, destined entirely to immunology, was developed in three lectures and a roundtable discussion.
The first lecture presented a study of different types of antigen and the immune system of farm animals (multicellular vertebrates), based on the immune mechanisms of unicellular animals, and its evolution through the immune system of multicellular invertebrate animals. The second lecture presented a study of the immunoboosters pronutrients and its practical application in animal nutrition. The third lecture was destined to the study of immunization against infectious toxic hepatoenteritis produced by entherobacteria SH2 producers.
Finally, the roundtable allowed attendees submit the situation of that disease in different countries, and the results obtained to date, with the application of intestinal biocides and antibiotics pronutrients.
