Cyanosis and Necrosis of the ears by actinobacilosis

Actinobacillus suis infection progresses through the chain of aortic lombo eventually to affect the heart valves. From the heart valves extend two masses of gelatinous one towards the atrium and another towards the ventricle which hinders the blood circulation and cause the process of cyanosis which finishes with necrosing  the tips of the ears. To carry out the clinical diagnosis should be excluded other possible causes, such as salmonellosis and parvovirus, and look for the positive triad with the presence of swollen glands and the heart valves.
